New place to show my work

"Roping"
9" x 12" Oil On Hardwood $125.00

I have a new venue to sell my prints. Wills Park Equestrian Center in Alpharetta, GA. I am excited about this venue for the exposure more than anything else. I could spend every day submitting images for galleries and gift shops etc then I would never get any painting done. At the rate I am going I barely have enough inventory for the shows I am attending much less supplying galleries.

I was contacted yesterday by a gallery in Orange Beach a rather funky place that is looking for more contemporary work. I am going to submit a cd of my oil pastels to them but first i must shoot more images convert them to digital and then burn a cd mail it follow up etc. All this would be easy if I sat at a computer all day and was not in a hundred different locations each day.

It is hard for me to start painting then quit to work on images, print out giclees, apply to shows etc. I need a personal assistant who can type. My assistant has paws and terrible spelling, she is good and guarding the studio from cats, squirrls and the UPS man.

Today is a short blog I need to finish my latest painting so it will be dry by this weekend for the Hiwassee, show.

Time to put paint to canvas,

Mike
