"Playing The Blues"Oil on Canvas 16" x 20" $400.00
Today I received an e-mail from an old friend and former neighbor way back in 1988. He also quit the corporate and did shows for 20 years selling stained glass. His wife is the author of the Ronay Guide a list of all the shows through the southeast. Bill and Camille Ronay now head up the Georgia Made Georgia Grown commission for artist and farmers in GA. this is a movement to get people to purchase from us artist, crafts people and farmers who make a living doing what we love.
Well a photograph of my work made the cover of the magazine. After 20 years designing magazine ads I finally have had my work published and I did not have anything to do with the design. I have more good news but I am going to save it for tomorrows blog.
This weekend is the Sandy Springs Show and hopefully it will be a good show. So far the fall has proven to be ok as far as sales are concerned in shows. I am pretty sure the economy can not possibly get any worse so things have to be on the way to getting better.
No matter how bad it gets I still am doing what i always wanted to and I am in control of my own destiny.
Well I have to get back to getting ready for the Sandy Springs Show.
